Each ship’s crew has experience which grows with time and battles. Ships are awarded levels
according to crew experience. Levels come with offensive and defensive bonuses. Races with the
Warlord trait are always one level higher compared to normal, and eventually become Ultra-Elite. In
below table column Exp
is how much experience is normally required to reach a rank, and W Exp
is how much Warlord race needs:

The experience points (EP) of each active ship increases each turn by:
